Columbia Energy was selected by EnergySolutions to provide detailed design, fabrication, factory testing, packaging, and delivery of a PLC Control Cabinet and seven (7) Junction Boxes for the Large Scale Integrated Testing (LSIT) Platform.

At the start of the project, Columbia Energy worked with EnergySolutions to define the Fabrication, Inspection, and Test Plan.  This also included the establishment of Witness and Hold Point activities.  Once the Plan was approved, Columbia Energy moved forward with procuring the long lead items, fabricating, assembling, and testing.

The Panel and Junction Boxes underwent Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).  FAT included testing the DI, DO, AI, and AO PLC card channels as well as the power supplies and grounding requirements.

Columbia Energy developed a Cleaning, Packaging, and Shipping Plan which detailed proper wrapping and shipping.

Included with the fabricated and assembled equipment was the Final Data Package.  Delivery was completed in March 2014.
